A six month old Abigail came ready for her photos in her pink headband and tutu, and I think it’s safe to say girls in tutus have more fun! She had a great time rolling around in all that poof which made my job easy. Then we headed out to the park for some fun shots with her big brother and family. It was one of the last beautiful days of summer before fall rolled in, so it made for a perfect photo shoot day. Check ’em out!
One-year-old Lydia took to the field against the backdrop of wild flowers and tall grass for her photo session, and she was all smiles as we found one cute spot after the next. She was so adorable to watch crawl around, investigating the leaves and wooden walkway we had her sitting on. And then she’d pop her head up and look back at me in time for a quick snap of my camera. She got a kick out of mom and I making her giggle, and the highlight could have been when we let her play with daddy’s fireman gear. I think Lydia’s got a little while before she can fit into his boots though…
I met up with nine month old Joe a little while back and it reminded me about how much I love photographing this age. It’s an age right on the edge of being able to get to and explore everything, but also being somewhat content to sit and observe. Joe was just that…sitting, smiling, laughing and also curious which made for a fun photo shoot. It had been a few months since I saw him last, and he sure is shaping up to be a handsome little guy, not that he hasn’t always been cute as ever. Enjoy!
You just never know what kids are gonna throw at you on a photo shoot, but when all they do is throw you smiles and poses, you take it! That was the case while photographing Peter. It was all smiles and laughs for this little guy while we explored the park. And once he got into the grove, we couldn’t stop all the adorable poses he flashed us all on his own! Even a little sprinkle of rain couldn’t dampen the mood. We went from one tree, rock or bridge to the next, and Peter even made some friends with a couple of passerby’s, but who wouldn’t want to get to know this face? Enjoy!
It’s been pretty amazing to see Aeden grow from when I took his newborn photos to just a week ago at his six month photo session. He’s growing so tall and developing his own little personality, which made it fun and entertaining to photograph him as we discovered what got the giggles out of him and what didn’t. We got some great photos with mom and dad outside, too. Overall the session was a blast, and I can’t wait to see this little man again when I have to actually chase him around for photos, which won’t be long I’m sure.
